The Summer Wind

the love of my life took the form
of a fairy muse her breath was
sweet like the summer wind

then her heart whispered
what can I do for you

I could have sworn I felt the
brush of her hair or was it the

touch of her wings or her lips
parting the air

my heart was thinking that the
only thing keeping me from

kissing you is time and space
so I don’t know what you

can do for me but wait could
you take the form of the woman

I love and knock on my door
the air became cool your hair so

soft the smell of you so sweet
so which is the fantasy

am I alone or did I just hear a
knock at the door

the love of my life took the form
of a fairy muse her breath was
sweet like the summer wind
